After graduating from UCSB where she majored in Business Economics, she co-owned a popular Santa Barbara women’s clothing store for twelve years before starting her family. Other aspects of Marcella’s former professional path include work in sales, management and marketing for several Santa Barbara based businesses. Then, for 16 years, she partnered with her husband Tom as an interior designer specializing in kitchen and bath design. Marcella, who has resided in Santa Barbara since 1978, recently made the full-time move to Village Properties, where she is able to relate her background in design and home remodeling with her extensive social and professional network. Because she loves her Santa Barbara home, it’s easy for Marcella to share her passion for helping others find their dream homes here.

Besides her wealth of market knowledge and local connections, Marcella has an uncanny ability to not only connect with clients, but to connect them with what they really want.

When not hard at work, she loves spending time with her family and attending her daughters’ volleyball games at the high school and college level. Marcella is also very community minded, and has enjoyed giving of her time in her daughters’ schools. She has served on the board at Community Kitchen, and has been active in leadership at her church for many years. She and her husband collect artwork from local artists, and often attend First Thursday art events in town. Marcella loves the outdoors and adventurous cooking. She also tries to play the piano in her spare time.
