Carolyn believes that selling or purchasing a home is an important financial decision and she has the experience to guide you through the process to a successful close. As a real estate professional in Santa Barbara since 1989, Carolyn has worked in slow markets in the early 1990s and the recent slow down, as well as active markets such as we experienced from 2002 to 2007.
This experience provides her with the ability to help her clients achieve their goals in any market. Her professionalism is shown in her attention to detail, focus on clients’ needs, ability to negotiate, and knowledge of the market which has resulted in many satisfied clients and referrals from them. Carolyn earned a Masters in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and uses her finance and marketing background to help her clients achieve their real estate goals. Her knowledge about local real estate trends adds to her ability to guide them in making decisions. Educating clients about the real estate process and continued communication, help to ease the stress during a real estate transaction. She emphasizes to buyers that “the purchase of a home should be a sound investment as well as a comfortable place to live.” Sellers benefit from her knowledge of the market in pricing their property for sale, a customized marketing plan, and her attention to detail to present their property in the best condition possible.
Having lived and worked in Santa Barbara for over twenty years, Carolyn has a strong appreciation for the community, its beautiful beaches, mountain ranges, and outstanding weather as well as the unlimited opportunities provided by our “Santa Barbara lifestyle”. Her love of Santa Barbara shows in her enthusiastic approach to helping buyers find the “right property” within our many unique areas. She feels it is important to be involved in the community and is a member of the Calm Auxiliary, (Child Abuse Listening Mediation), past member of Santa Barbara City Golf Advisory Committee, docent of the Santa Barbara County Court House, and founder of the Santa Barbara chapter of the Women’s Executive Golf Association.
