If buying a home is in your list of “New Year’s Resolutions” here is a checklist of things you can do to get the process started:
2. Grow your down-payment as much as you can! 3. Get a referral to a qualified mortgage lender. Speak with a mortgage lender who can educate you on loan programs, how much you might need for a down-payment and how much you can afford. 4. Get a referral to a qualified Realtor™ from someone you know. Speak with a Realtor ™ to see properties in the price range your mortgage lender tells you that you can afford. See if the properties in your price range will work for your lifestyle. 5. Get in the car and go look at homes! 6. Write an offer! 7. Your Realtor™ will help you conduct the necessary reports and inspections on your new home to ensure you know what you’re buying. 8. Close escrow and move in to your new home… | ||
