If selling a home is on your list of “New Year’s Resolutions,” here is a checklist of things you can do to get started:
2. Meet with a Realtor™ who can go over all the things you can do to get your property ready to show on the market. (This list might include new paint, some gardening, some cleaning, etc.) 3. Start working on that list to make your home look fresh and clean. Try to put some items you don’t need away in boxes to prepare for your move. 4. Work with your Realtor™ to come to a selling price that everyone can agree on. 5. Your Realtor™ will schedule a photographer, create fliers, and do all the marketing work necessary to get ready to put the home on the market. 6. Put your home on the market and be ready to show it to buyers. 7. Review the offers as they come in with your Realtor™. 8. Be out shopping for homes while your house is for sale (or in escrow) so that you have a new place to go when the sale of your home is complete. 9. Move in to your new home! | ||
