As many of us know Santa Barbara Estate Sales were up 47% in 2007 over 2006. There were 66 homes that sold over $5 million compared to 45 homes in 2006. Although most of what we hear from news articles is the negative aspects of the real estate market, there are still many buyers from other parts of the country buying here in Santa Barbara. Whether you live in a castle or a cottage it is the lifestyle, climate, schools and so many more ammenities that comprise this special place we are fortunate to call home.
