John was raised in the quiet neighborhoods of San Roque. Having lived a life here, he is deeply knowledgeable and intimate with the pure magic of this coastal paradise he has always called home.

John’s first introduction to real estate in 1985 was through his mentor and principal owner of Gene O’Hagan Associates. John found real estate to be a comfortable fit and has remained loyal to an industry that offered him great success. In 1996, along with a handful of seasoned agents, John was personally invited by Ed Edick and Renee Grubb to join what was then a “new” start-up real estate company, Village Properties. John. along with Village Properties, are proud to be integral well-established members of Santa Barbara County’s esteemed real estate community. John is consistently in the top-ten producing agents companywide and has lived through ever-changing times with resilience.
