Cimme's Story

I find that every client has a story. What I’ve learned about the real estate industry is that there is much more at stake than money. Rather, transactions generate lots of emotions, and it is imperative that I understand and respect my sellers’/buyers’ objectives in order for them to experience a successful sale or purchase. While it is my job to help my clients sell or buy properties, it is my true honor to help them with one of life’s most important milestones. We become more than realtor/client – we become lifelong friends.

Demonstrating three key tenets when representing my clients has become the hallmark of my essence: honesty, integrity, and professionalism. The first two traits were drilled into me as one of five children in a Greek household. The third characteristic was honed over the course of my varied career. My clients continually identify my unique characteristics as those which ultimately contribute to my continued success. I realize they are part of my DNA, and just like a leopard’s spots, they truly can’t be altered.

These traits have helped me surpass my clients’ expectations during every single transaction. Be it the first time buyer who was intimated by the process but realized I would stay by her side during the entire six-month search until she purchased the perfect townhome for herself. Or the couple who was downsizing from their family home of 60 years in order to be closer to their children and grandkids in Oklahoma, and trusted me to negotiate the highest and best offer for their home. Finally, to the investors who purchased their home in anticipation of relocating from Florida once they wrapped up their medical practice to retire in our beautiful Santa Barbara. They, too, were comforted knowing that I would shepherd them through the process despite the fact that they experienced a medical emergency, which could have derailed their transaction. My efforts, however, ensured that the escrow timeline wasn’t interrupted and closed in a timely manner.

My sellers quickly notice other traits, which distinguish me as a top producer -- taking charge of the myriad tasks required in prepping their home including painting, flooring, window cleaning, landscaping, decluttering, and handyman tasks. With my oversight, my buyers know that their due diligence efforts will be extremely thorough to alleviate any concerns about their purchase. Those same clients appreciate my relentless nature, expert negotiation skills, cheerful attitude, boundless energy, and ability to make their transaction as smooth and painless as possible!

With so many wonderful stories to share about my clients’ experiences, there is one common thread amongst all those transactions -- namely, their recognition of my unparalleled delivery of stellar service. There is nothing cookie-cutter about each real estate transaction, and that is both the beauty and the challenge of this industry. As such, I am always learning and continue to invest my time and energy to earn designations, which prove invaluable to my clients during negotiations such as: SRS, ABR, SRES, and GREEN.

Balancing my career and maintaining my community involvement is also rewarding by serving on the Leadership Council of the Santa Barbara Special Olympics, as well as spearheading other fundraisers benefitting worthwhile non-profit organizations.
